Why do Stadiums Require Clear Bags?
There are a few reasons for the new policy. The first is public safety. With more and more people carrying large bags into stadiums, it became difficult to check everyone’s bags thoroughly. By limiting the size and type of bags allowed, stadium security can do a better job of checking them and keeping everyone safe.
Another reason for the policy is to speed up entry into the stadium. With fewer people carrying large bags, there will be less congestion at the gates and everyone can get into their seats faster.
Finally, the new policy will help reduce stadium litter. Large bags often end up getting left behind after games, which creates extra work for stadium staff and can be unsightly for other fans. By discouraging fans from bringing them in the first place, stadiums can keep their concourses cleaner and safer for everyone.
